Ed Ferderbar // Principal
Ed was previously both a Manager of Operations and Engineering for several large pharmaceutical companies in the northeast. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. His responsibilities include all operations, with a focus on design, fabrication, scheduling and communications with the Client or its representatives to insure the project meets its objectives and the relationship continues to grow between Marketechs and the Client. Ed enjoys family get-togethers with his six kids, vacation travel with his wife and attending Penn State Football, Hockey and Basketball games. He’s also ready for a round of golf or boating anytime.
Ed Zielinski // VP of Sales // email@example.com
Prior to joining Marketechs, Ed most recently owned and operated a sign franchise. Prior to that, he held management, business development and sales positions with firms in North America and Asia. He holds a B. S. degree in Business Administration, and has taken specialized courses in leadership, executive assessment, data management, franchise operations and Japanese language and business practices. In his spare time, Ed enjoys golfing, long-distance running and various outdoor adventures.
Peter Welsh // Senior Project Manager
Prior to joining Marketechs over 20 years ago, Peter was a curator at the Kansas State Historical Society Museum and a contract curator for the National Park Service. Peter has an M.A. degree from the University of Delaware and a B.A. from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York. Peter is the senior project manager and has been directly involved in all museum and education center work Marketechs has undertaken during his tenure. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of project development among all participants.
Kelly Densel-Ohm // Senior Project Manager
Kelly was appointed a project manager in 2012 after several years working as an accountant for Marketechs. Her analytical skills and strong leadership have been immediate assets. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology from Ashford University. Kelly provides extensive knowledge and project experience related to the College and University segments. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for York County, participating in Penn State’s Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) with her two sons, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Penn State’s Nittany Lions, and spending time in sunny Florida golfing.
Kim Miller // Project Manager
Kim joined the project management team at Marketechs early in 2016. She started her career as a professional figure skater, growing into sport program management, and event design and implementation. She holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from Millersville University, in Millersville, PA. She utilizes the skills gained from this diverse background to seek out solutions in creative and unique ways, striving to give clients personalized attention for every project. In her spare time, Kim enjoys coaching young figure skaters, watching her teen son play hockey, sharing a love of reading with her daughter, exploring new places with her family, and documenting it all through photography.
Alicia Jones // Office Manager
Alicia joined the Marketechs team in the fall of 2016 after relocating to York County. Prior to Marketechs, she developed a diverse skillset working in a small law firm for 10 years, first as a legal assistant and then as a paralegal after attending Penn State York. Ready for a new adventure, she was pleased to find a home in the creative environment at Marketechs. Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling and leading an active lifestyle.
Missy Stump // Project Coordinator
Born and raised in York, PA, Missy joined the Marketechs team in March 2017. She has a strong background in Human Resources, Accounting and Safety Program Administration. She has also worked as a Recreation / Marketing Manager for a local federal government entity. Missy enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren – family is extremely important her! She also does volunteer work throughout the community on a regular basis.
Doug Sturgeon // Senior Graphic Designer
Doug has been actively involved since 2004 in the firm’s exhibit and related graphic work. Doug holds a B.F.A. degree from Millersville University, Millersville, Pennsylvania. Doug is the chief graphic designer and oversees graphic production both by Marketechs and its subcontractors. His department will prepare all required graphic designs, typographic and material submissions during design development and all layout, color and production proofs during implementation.
Dwayne Stare // Senior Designer
Dwayne has over 16 years of experience in the field of exhibit design and branding. Dwayne attended Bradley Academy of the Visual Arts and the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design. He oversees all aspects of the Design Process, from initial concept to fabrication and installation. In his spare time, Dwayne likes to golf, play tennis and spend as much time as he can at the beach.
Dave Lynch // Designer
Dave joined Marketechs in 2013 with more than 10 years of experience as an illustrator, graphic designer, and detailer. He has assumed additional responsibilities, assisting the design team as a junior exhibit designer, and the fabrication team as a CNC programmer. Dave graduated in 2001 from the Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts with an Associate Degree in Multimedia Design. You’ll often find Dave biking to work, and in his downtime he enjoys road and trail running.
Alexis Burk // Graphic Designer
After nearly 18 years of creating art with every medium she could find, Alexis pursued graphic design at the Art Institute of York-Pennsylvania. With a new passion for typography, she graduated and began her career as a Wedding Invitation Designer and Production Artist for seven years. In 2015 she became a part of the Marketechs team with duties including graphic design, file pre-flight and preparation and graphic production. In addition to art and typography, Alexis enjoys music, food and spending time with her other half William and her two cats Willow and Wren.
Woody Butler // Senior Designer
Woody found a love for design when he took his first graphics class in high school. He went on to earn a Bachelor of the Arts degree from McDaniel College in Graphic Design. As a member of the Marketechs design team, he creates concept renderings and is actively involved in the design and production process. He enjoys playing basketball, lounging by the lake, and spending time with his better half.
Doug Shirk // Production Manager and Lead Fabricator
Doug worked as a Shop Fabricator for the Marketechs team from 1998 – 2006 before beginning his own woodworking business – Shirk Woodworking. In 2012, Doug rejoined the Marketechs team as a Fabricator, before quickly transitioning into the role of Shop Manager. In this role Doug manages the Fabrication Team, organizes daily work schedules, oversees all project production and installations. His duties also include value engineering, estimating and quality control for all Marketechs projects. Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and kids (dog included), boating, and woodworking. He also likes attending car shows and Hockey games.
Phil Hausman // Fabricator
Phil has been working all aspects of carpentry and construction most of his life. He started out building homes, then transitioned to commercial construction for 14 years. In addition, Phil was self-employed for four years doing small remodel jobs. Phil has been employed with Marketechs since 2004. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and traveling, especially surf fishing at the beach and checking out local restaurants.
Mike Wiley // Fabricator
Mike has worked in all facets of the construction industry for more than 25 years. He began working at Marketechs in 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, competitive sports, and going to the beach.
Dave Heisey // Fabricator
Dave graduated from York Vo tech in 1981. He has worked for over 20 years doing finish carpentry and building cabinets. Dave has been with Marketechs since early 2016. Dave enjoys car shows, auto racing, and spending time with his family.
Justin Lamboy // Graphics Specialist
Justin graduated in 2007 from Wyotech with a diploma in specialty automotive. He worked from 2007 until 2012 in various areas of the automotive aftermarket field. He built show motorcycles and cars and heavy equipment.His interests are restoring and fixing old vehicles, metal fabrication, writing, music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Craig Landis // Warehouse Manager
Craig has been working in the warehouse industry for over 20 years. He began working for Marketechs in 2015. Outside of work, Craig enjoys playing sports, reading with his son, watching movies, and listening to music.
